The front page of my FFL today.....

Someone said I wouldn't post anymore about my FFL if I lost, but I suppose if I can brag about winning I should also be able to whine about losing.... It was nice being in first place. But my brother Rick now has more total points than I do, so he's in first place. Oh well. Congrats to my brother-in-law Andy for giving me my first loss this season, especially since he didn't even use the player that he got from Rick in the shady trade.

OK, so this blog has become nothing more than my excitement about my fantasy football record this fall! It's fun to win! But, someone in my league is trying to trade a VERY good player for a nothing player to the person I play next week, just so I might lose a game. I don't really care to play anymore if that happens, because it's not a fair trade. So this might be my last post about fantasy football.

Apple pie

I made an apple pie for Rob's birthday yesterday. It was my first attempt at making one. It turned out better than I could have imagined. AND, I had even had fun making it =)

My new favorite TV show...

I have been told by many people that I would like this show. I intentionally avoided it for over two years because I didn't want to get sucked in, like I did with Alias. But two weeks ago I gave in and started watching it on Netflix online. How quickly I've made it to episode 12 of season one! My husband laughs at me as I sit on the futon, eyes gazing intently at my laptop, headphones covering my ears. I'm addicted...

My first post...

This is Jen's blog, but when she invited me to join her I had to say no. I am not controversial, I don't have thoughts on contemporary issues, and for the most part I would rather sit down and have a conversation. After three months I changed my mind. I decided that I can do this figuring that I can post once every four or five months (about as often as Jen does). So, in light of this, I will join my wife in blogging. Since I have nothing left to say, this is where I am completing my first attempt at blogging. Thanks for anyone who reads this.
